About Firm



As technology has seen quick advancement in the last few decades, various companies have benefited simultaneously. It is a time of Computer Era. Today the world has changed, everything has become digital. Today, each complicated task has been simplified to a normal job which can be efficiently handled by those who are well versed with latest technology in Computer field & machinery.

FEW DETAILS ABOUT MYSELF...
I was born and brought up in Kolkata and graduated from Kolkata University (West Bengal). I have started a proprietorship firm in the name of "GLOBAL DESK" in 2005 and working continuously for almost Two decades. Basically, this firm belongs to the sector of creative-Developing-Hardware Services. In this firm we worked on various categories like Web Development, Programming, Designing, Web Designing, Graphic Design, Animation, DTP and Hardware Services etc. simultaneously, we also ran a computer academy. As per the time changing, we added more things to do in this firm like Digital Marketing, Web Portal, Apps, E-commerce Website, OTT Platform and offline-online Software. Apart from this, I have also been working in Film Industry as Publicity Designer and Web Developer since the same time.

Lifecycle Approach: Education and Skill Development


Global Desk believes that education is both the means as well as the end to a better life: the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one's awareness on a range of issues - from healthcare to appropriate social behaviour to understanding one's rights - and in the process help him/her evolve as a better citizen. Education is the most effective tool which helps children build a strong foundation; enabling them to free themselves from the vicious cycle of ignorance, poverty and disease.

Global Desk realised that Education and Skill Development in Computer Science or IT Field for Children cannot be achieved without the family, particularly, unless the mother is assured of health care and empowered. Moreover, when an elder sibling is educated and relevantly skilled to be employable and begins earning, the journey of empowerment continues beyond the present generation.

Good Governance

Credibility and accountability have always been the bench mark for Global Desk and are achieved through the promotion of principles of good governance in the processes and practices. This four-tier audit mechanism reviews programmes and projects, internal operations, compliance of statutory norms and conducts an external evaluation for the impact and outcome of various development programmes. The entire management processes and practices of Global Desk are in compliance with the principles of good governance.

Global Desk Computech dispenses professional computer training. The training emphasizes on hands-on learning to make the students an ace in facing the various IT challenges of the real world.

We have qualified and experienced faculty members who actively take part in the training program. Our professors research about new methods and make sure that they teach the students the recent technologies in the best way possible. We conduct mock test on a regular basis. These tests improve the speed and accuracy of the students in the training program. Apart from the air-conditioned class room, we also provide free practice sessions during the course.
